San Francisco at Toronto

Jeff Samardzija spent some time in the American League and it was disastrous as he couldn't adjust to pitching in a DH league. He now faces an AL team tonight at Toronto after coming off a 9-6 loss at Washington on Wednesday.  Samardzija had a 6.64 ERA on the road last season and he was 1-5 with a 6.25 overall after the All-Star break. Trent Thornton is 0-2 with a 5.40 ERA and the Blue Jays have lost all four of his starts this year. Thornton didn't make it out of the fifth inning his last outing while allowing four runs on six hits with three walks. Toronto has gone OVER in six of its last eight interleague home games and the Blue Jays are 14-6 OVER their last 20 interleague contests versus right-handed starters. Play the OVER.
