The St. Louis Cardinals looked to be getting things together, as they rode a 9-2 stretch to respectability, but they have since fallen off. Outside of that 9-2 stretch, the Cards simply have not played good baseball, as they are otherwise just 20-24. They saw their ace get banged around last night in a 9-4 pasting by the Giants. San Francisco has been consistently good all season, and own the best record in either league at 36-19. They are on a roll winning seven of their last eight, outscoring opponents by a 44-21 count. And they own a 37-14 mark when playing to a total of 7-8.5 in their last 51 games. The Giants have been big vs. right handed pitching where they have turned in a stellar 27-11 mark in their last 38 against them. Wacha has been good for the Cards, but they have dropped his last four when going against a winning team. Play on San Francisco.
