San Francisco at San Diego

The San Diego Padres made a lot of off-season moves to bolster their roster, but to this point the best word to describe those changes would be disappointing. San Diego may have found the chemistry however, as they took the opener of their series vs. San Francisco, and have now won five straight games. Matt Kemp has led the charge with 4 HRs and 10 RBI in his last eight games, and swatted a long ball last night. Odrisamer Despaigne has really stiffled the Giants as he has made five appearances against them, four of which were starts, and owns a 2-0 record with a nifty 0.91 ERA. The Giants have been handcuffed on the road vs. right handed pitching where they are 1-6 in their last seven. San Diego has been a healthy 20-8 in their last 28 at home vs. a winning road team.
