San Francisco at Philadelphia

Philadelphia fell just short of a comeback win after scoring three runs in the ninth, but lost 4-3 to Washington on Sunday night. The Phillies head home to try and avenge a three-game sweep by San Francisco earlier this season and the Giants have lost seven of 10 although they got a 4-3 victory over Atlanta yesterday. The Phillies send Aaron Nola to the mound and they have won his past two starts against Washington and Toronto. San Francisco batters have a .216 batting average with three homers in 97 at-bats against Nola. Scott Alexander is scheduled to start a bullpen game for the Giants, who are 2-12 their past 14 road games. Philadelphia has won six of eight following a loss and they have won 11 of Nola's past 16 home starts. Take the Phillies.
