Oakland sends Frankie Montas to the mound in the rubber match of this series after San Francisco rallied for a 6-5 win on Saturday on pinch hitter Lamonte Wade, Jr.'s two-run homer in the ninth inning. The Athletics have won three of Montas' last four starts, and he has given up seven earned runs in 24 innings. Montas faced the Giants once this season and allowed two runs on two hits in five innings, and Giants hitters are batting just .133 against him in 28 at-bats. Logan Webb has pitched much better at home than on the road where he has a 4.20 ERA compared to 1.71 at Oracle Park. Oakland has won 120 of its past 175 games as a home favorite, and Montas hasn't given up more than three earned runs since June 21. Play the Athletics.
