San Francisco at Milwaukee

Milwaukee had won three of four, including two shutout victories, before losing 5-0 to the Giants on Thursday, but look for the Brewers to bounce back with Freddy Peralta starting tonight as he recovered from a bad outing against St. Louis to pitch six innings while allowing three runs on five hits in a 6-4 win over Tampa Bay on Sunday. Peralta is 4-1 with a 2.43 ERA and .179 opponent batting average at home this year and he has 31 strikeouts in 29 2/3 innings at Miller Park. Alex Wood has not made it through the fifth inning in six starts in 2023 and he gave up four runs on six hits in 4 1/3 innings against Miami on Sunday. The Brewers are 15-10 at home and San Francisco is 10-14 on the road and the Giants are 13-28 their past 41 road games against teams with winning records. Take the Brewers.
