San Francisco at Los Angeles

San Francisco entered the All-Star break winning three in row and seven of their past nine. The Giants have Carlos Rodon on the mound tonight with an 8-5 record, 2.66 ERA and 1.11 WHIP this season. Rodon had one rough month in May and then bounced back, allowing only 11 earned runs in 55 innings in June-July. The left-hander has faced Los Angeles twice this year and given up just two runs on five hits in 12 innings. Mitch White is scheduled to go for the Dodgers and he was clobbered to the tune of six runs on 10 hits in five innings versus the Cardinals his last start. San Francisco swept the Dodgers in a three-game series in June while allowing a total of only four runs, and the Giants are 24-10 their past 34 games following an off day. Take the Giants.
