The Cincinnati Reds were sailing along until recently, as they have fallen victim to the loss column in seven of their last nine games. The offense has turned cold, as the Reds have produced less than three runs a game during the bad stretch. The Giants finally broke a bad streak of their own with a win in their series finale vs. Colorado, and the reigning MLB Champs would be in trouble at 39-42, but in the NL West, they are well in striking distance, just three games off the pace. Shockingly, the Reds are a woeful 1-6 in their last seven at home as a big chalk from -151 to -200, and it appears this team has a letdown mentality, which after a big series against Texas, they may fall victim here once again. The Giants have won four straight here, and should be feeling good coming in off a win. Play on San Francisco.
