San Francisco at Chicago

The Chicago Cubs have given the San Francisco Giants fits in the first two games of this series. The Cubbies have won them both, scoring 18 runs in the process against a good Giants’ pitching staff. The Giants turn to Tim Lincecum who has had problems all season long, as he continues to fight his way out of a 7-14 record and a sub-par 5.30 ERA. The Giants are just 9-18 in his 28 starts on the season. If that isn't bad enough, Lincecum has been even worse on the road where he carries a 6.99 ERA on the season, and the Cubs’ bats have been hot in this series. The Giants have now been just 10-23 in Lincecum's last 33 starts, and the Cubs have had his number, even when he was pitching well, winning the last four against him. Play on the Cubs.
