The San Francisco Giants were living large early in the season, pounding their opponents on their way to a 42-21 record through 63 games. Everything seemed to be fitting together, and they certainly looked to be the team to beat in 2014. Things have certainly changed since then. San Francisco has lost their way, and since the great start they are 23-37. The Cubs have been the better of the two teams of late, as Chicago has won two straight and that moves them to 12-9 in their last 21 games on the season. Ryan Vogelsong has had a tough year at 7-8, and his career numbers vs. the Cubs are awful as he owns a 5-5 record against them with a 5.75 ERA. Tsuyoshi Wada looks like he belongs as he is 2-1 with a 3.15 ERA thus far. The Giants' 2-8 mark in their last 10 against a left-handed starter also looms large in this one. Play the Cubs.
