The Atlanta Braves have really struggled to score runs in this series. Of their 7 runs, 3 of them came in the eighth inning of game two. The fact is that they have scored in just four of 27 innings in this series. They have just 17 hits in the three games, committing five errors and appear to be playing very tight. Facing elimination won't make things any easier. It also won't get any easier facing Madison Bumgarner who has led the Giants to a 7-2 road mark in his last nine starts away from San Francisco. Bumgarner is hot, allowing just 5 runs in his last 38 innings of work for a nifty 1.18 ERA. Giants are getting it done on the road vs. winning teams at 8-2 in their last 10, and are also 38-17 in their last 55 games, allowing 2 runs or less in their last game. The Braves are squandering home field advantage in the playoffs as they now sit at 5-13 in their last 18 home playoff contests. I'll back San Francisco in this one.
