San Diego at St. Louis

The Padres have been the best team in baseball over their last 58 games as they are 39-19. This team has been expected to contend, but got out of the gate slow, but have really put things together. They lost a tough game last night in St. Louis 4-3 and I expect them to bounce back tonight behind Michael King. The Padres own a 13-6 record in his last 19 decisions. He has also delivered on the road where the Padres are 5-0 in his last five road starts. The Cardinals are a game below .500 and 10.5 games out in the NL Central, so their playoff hopes have vanished. The Cardinals will be getting their first look at Michael King and I think that works against them here. Make the play on San Diego.
