San Diego at San Francisco

San Diego is off to a 4-1 start and leads the NL West. They have Chris Paddack going tonight, and he pitched six shutout innings on four hits in the Padres' 7-2 win over Arizona on Friday. San Diego won again on Tuesday when Fernando Tatis, Jr. hit a three-run homer in a 5-3 victory over the Giants. Paddack pitched well against San Francisco last year allowing only five runs in 17 innings. The Giants are 2-3 and have Johnny Cueto on the mound, and he pitched four innings in the season opener against the Dodgers, giving up a run on five hits. Cueto appeared in only four games last season after recovering from an injury.
