The Giants have to be concerned about what they have seen from Tim Lincecum. His fastball has steadily declined in velocity, and that has made his off-speed stuff a lot more hittable. While he shows flashes of his old self on occasion, more often than not he is getting in trouble on the mound, and the Padres handed him a 4.74 ERA last season. Richard owns a winning career record vs. the Giants and a respectable 3.86 ERA, and the Padres are 7-3 in his last 10 starts in the role of an underdog. The line indicates Lincecum is still getting much more respect than what we have seen, but the play is on San Diego.
