San Diego is gaining more confidence by the game after erasing a 4-0 deficit in Game Two and winning 8-5 featuring a five-run fifth inning in which Brandon Drury hit a go-ahead, two-run single for the Padres. Joe Musgrove has been tremendous in the postseason allowing just two runs on seven hits in 13 innings in victories against the Mets and Dodgers. Ranger Suarez goes for Philadelphia and he has appeared once in the playoffs and gave up a run on three hits in 3 1/3 innings versus Atlanta. The Padres are a phenomenal 18-4 following an off day and they have won eight of their past 11 road games and seven of 10 road games versus left-handed starters. San Diego is getting contributions from up and down its lineup and the bottom half was the main factor in Wednesday's win. Take the Padres.
