The Philadelphia Phillies were on an unsustainable pace, as they were winning it seemed every night. Things have considerably cooled down for this team as they are mired in a 2-5 skid over their past seven games. I think this is a bit of an adjustment, that the Phillies will continue the torrid pace, despite their recent struggles. The Padres inconsistencies have led to them hovering around the .500 mark for the better of the season. Padres starter Randy Vasquez has been much better lately after a horrible start.
