San Diego at New York

Randy Vasquez will make his MLB debut for New York and he looked good in spring training and in his last four starts in Triple-A he has a 2.14 ERA. Joe Musgrove had a late start to the season this year and has been shaky allowing 18 earned runs on 29 hits in 24 innings and San Diego has lost his past three starts, including on Saturday when he gave up four runs on six hits in five innings against Boston. The Yankees continue to have one of the best bullpens in the majors with a 2.97 ERA and 1.22 WHIP with 15 saves. The Padres are only 1 1/2 games ahead of last-place Colorado in the NL West and they are 11-12 on the road while New York is 17-12 at home. The Bronx Bombers have won 46 of of their past 60 home games versus teams with losing records and 13 of 16 interleague home contests against right-handed starters. Take the Yankees.
