The San Diego Padres opened the season in similar fashion to the Miami Marlins. The Padres' 5-15 start had many thinking this would be a good team to go against. But they have really played well since, compiling a 35-25 record, which would have them up near the top of the standings in any division. Miami has had its moments, but it's hard to disguise a 27-51 record - no matter how you slice it. Eric Stults has been impressive with a 3.20 ERA and has not allowed a home run in 9 of his last 10 starts, and San Diego is 7-0 in his last seven starts vs. the NL East. The Padres have had admirable success here, as they are 10-2 in their last 12 in Miami. Go with San Diego.
