San Diego has won four of six following its 3-2 victory over the Marlins on Thursday as Jurickson Profar had two hits and two RBIs to help Blake Snell get the win. Tonight it's Joe Musgrove on the mound for the Padres and his effectiveness has tapered off a little since earlier in the season when he threw a no-hitter, but he still has a .190 opponent batting average on the road and he has a 2.55 ERA and .192 OBA overall in night games. Zach Thompson lasted four innings and allowed two runs in a 4-2 loss to the Phillies on Saturday. San Diego is 21-6 its past 27 Friday games and Miami has lost five of its last six games and stuck in last place in the NL East.
