San Diego rallied for its seventh straight win overcoming a 7-3 deficit to beat the Marlins 9-8 on Saturday. Luis Arraez had two hits and drove in three runs, including a go-ahead ground out in the 10th inning. Now the Padres have Dylan Cease on the mound today and he has allowed only one run his past 28 2/3 innings, including a no-hitter on July 25. Cease has a 0.99 WHIP this season and a .190 opponent batting average. San Diego is 6-0 its past six games after allowing at least five runs its previous game and it has won Cease's past five starts. Miami has lost five in a row against a starter with a WHIP of less than 1.15 and it has lost its past four home games versus right-handed starters.
