First baseman Adrian Gonzalez is hitless in his last 17 at-bats with seven strikeouts as the Dodgers are 2-for-36 with runners in scoring position over the last six games. Los Angeles RF Yasiel Puig is mired in a 1-for-18 slump. The Dodgers turn their desperate eyes to Clayton Kershaw, but he was just pounded by the Marlins for seven hits and five runs in a 6-3 defeat as a -320 favorite, putting Kershaw with a 4.50 ERA at home this season.
