San Diego at Los Angeles

Los Angeles is about as close to being unbeatable at home as you can get with a 36-9 record at Dodger Stadium and it has beaten the Padres 37 of the last 52 meetings and eight of the last 10. The Dodgers won again last night with a one-out walk-off homer by Cody Bellinger in the 10th inning - his second home run of the game. Now they send Hyun-Jin Ryu to the mound tonight and he owns a 9-2 record and 1.83 ERA and although he does come off a rough start at Coors Field, he is 6-0 at home with a microscopic 0.94 ERA. Ryu has not pitched against San Diego this season, but last year he was 3-0 with a 1.53 ERA against the Padres in three appearances. Dinelson Lamet is making his first start of the season after elbow surgery and the Padres had lost his last seven starts. Also, San Diego is 17-35 its last 52 games versus left-handed starters.
