San Diego at Los Angeles

The San Diego Padres shocked everyone with a 9-3 start, but most knew it would simply not last, and it hasn't. The Padres have settled into being what they really are, and that's a bad team. They have since gone 2-7, and have been outscored 57-31 in the process. Josh Geer is a fill-in on an already poor pitching staff, and will likely make his last start as the Padres signed Chad Gaudin who was released by the Cubs. The Dodgers have played all but six games on the road to start the season, and in spite of that have already opened a 2.5 game lead in the NL West. That is because they have been 6-0 on the season in LA, and even when the Padres were playing very good to start the season, the Dodgers won two of three in San Diego. I look for them to beat the Padres in their return to LA after a long road trip.
