San Diego at Los Angeles

The season couldn't have started any better for the LA Dodgers as they slugged four HRs, got a good opening start from Clayton Kerswaw, and look to make it two straight vs. the Padres. The Dodgers will go with Kenta Maeda who was a nifty 16-11 last year and backed by a solid 3.48 ERA. The Dodgers were in a similar spot last season, beating the Padres in early April in the opener, but fell in Game 2. Clayton Richard was 3-4 for San Diego, and had a respectable 3.33 ERA. Richard has a great history pitching against the Dodgers as he enters this contest with a lifetime 11-6 record against them, and that includes winning each of the last two.Take the big dog and play San Diego.
