The Colorado Rockies have built their team around offense since their inception, to help take advantage of hitter-friendly Coors Field. This season, however, that has not been enough. The Rockies may be en route to their worst home record since at least 2004, as they are 31-40 on the season, winning just 43.7% at home, one of the worst marks in MLB for 2015. It hasn't been the hitting however, it is pitching that has been about as bad as it gets as the Rockies are allowing an average of 7.3 runs per game at home. No matter how much they hit, overcoming the pitching is a very difficult obstacle. The Padres are 12-5 behind Kennedy in his last 17 starts vs. an opponent that scored 2 or fewer in their last game, while Colorado is now 27-55 in their last 82 series openers. Take San Diego.
