Kyle Freeland will be making his second Major League start for Colorado while Zach Lee, a late replacement for injured Luis Perdomo, will be making his first appearance since 2015. Lee is a former Dodgers prospect and was named their Minor League Pitcher of the Year twice. Freeland allowed one run on four hits in six innings in his big league debut. The Padres look to bounce back from a 3-2 loss Tuesday night when Nolan Arenado hit a go-ahead homer in the seventh. Dating to last season, the Rockies have won just five of their last 17 games when following a win and have lost five straight in Game 3 of a series.
