San Diego at Colorado

Both the San Diego Padres and the Colorado Rockies have to be pleased with the way the 2017 season has started. The padres are 4-4 despite facing some very tough pitchers in Cain, Bumgarner, Cueto, and Kershaw. They will try to squeeze a good season out of Jered Weaver, who has won six of his last eight starts, and he has the edge as most of the Rockies lineup has not seen him before. The Padres have some momentum going as they took game one of this series 5-3. The Rockies typical strong offense has not gotten on track yet, scoring four or fewer runs in five of their first eight games, while San Diego has held their own vs. top-notch pitching, and get a better shot in this one vs. Senzatela.
