San Diego has hard throwing Edinson Volquez on the hill, a guy who has fanned 40 Rockies in 37 innings against them and a 3-3 record. Volquez is 1-2 with a respectable 4.57 ERA at Coors Field and the Padres are 20-8 in their last 28 during game three of a series, as well as 5-2 in their last seven get-away-day Sunday games. The Padres are 8-2 in Volquez's last ten starts as an underdog of +110 to +150 as well as 6-1 in with five days of rest. Colorado has holes on defense and in the bullpen. Starter Jhoulys Chacin had a great first start, but this guy has struggled in his career. Chacin had a terrible spring training, posting an 8.44 ERA in five spring outings. Last season he had a 6.34 ERA in Coors Field where opponents hit .321 off him. The last three years he has a losing record overall (23-30) as well as at home. In fact, the Rockies are 8-23 in Chacin's last 31 starts. Play the Padres.
