I'm not sure if the Rockies are ready to be solid home chalk at this point of the season. This is still a team that lost 98 games a year ago, and was 11 games below .500 at home. San Diego got great work from their pen in the last two at New York, which allowed just 1 run in over 7 innings of work. Also, Jason Marquis finished strong a year ago with five wins in his last seven decisions. Francis was once a top pitcher, but he has regressed tremendously the past few years. The Padres have owned him as he is 6-13 lifetime against them, sporting a not-so nifty 5.70 ERA. Make the play on San Diego in this one.
