The San Diego Padres aren't going to win a lot of games this season, but what they will do is put a good pitcher on the mound, most of the time, and play hard. The same can be said about the Cubs, who also won't win a lot of games this year. However, one difference is that they are playing with a very bad attitude right now and aren't playing very hard. Chicago has proceeded to lose 12 straight games and yesterday they were down 10-0 early to the Pirates. They simply have not been competitive at all. They have been outscored in the 12 games by a 2-1 ratio and to be favored at this point vs. any team is not showing any value at all.
