Boston has won eight of 10 and the Red Sox essentially have been off since Tuesday since they only played two innings on Wednesday before the game was suspended and then there was a scheduled off day yesterday. So the bullpen is fully rested and Nick Pivetta will be on the mound for Boston, which has won his past four starts and he has a 1.16 WHIP on the season. Randy Vasquez is 2-4 with a 5.10 and a 1.68 WHIP for San Diego although he did pitch five scoreless innings his last outing against Milwaukee on Saturday. The Red Sox are 6-0 their past six games against starters with WHIPs greater than 1.30 and Boston has won seven of eight interleague home games versus right-handed starters. The Padres have lost six in a row against teams with losing home records. Boston is 8-0 UNDER in Pivetta's past eight starts with five days rest and 7-0 UNDER when he is a home favorite of -110 to -150. Take the Red Sox and the UNDER.
