Baltimore will try again to slow down the Padres, who won 9-4 on Saturday for their seventh consecutive win. Only two Padre hitters have ever faced Suarez. Randy Vasquez is 3-5 with a 4.17 ERA and a 1.49 WHIP overall for San Diego, but a 5.01 ERA and a .351 opponent batting average on the road. The Padres have stayed UNDER eight of their past 12 games overall and four of six against AL opponents. Baltimore is 30-24 at home as it tries to hold onto first place in the AL East.
