Arizona has Zac Gallen going tonight with a 12-2 record and 2.50 ERA and he recently pitched 40-plus scoreless innings. The Diamondbacks have won nine of his past 10 starts, including 12-6 over Colorado on Sunday when Gallen gave up three runs in six innings to end the shutout streak. Nevertheless, the right-hander had 11 strikeouts and allowed just four hits at Coors Field. Gallen has not lost a decision at home where he has a .174 opponent batting average. Joe Musgrove has been roughed up lately allowing 17 runs (13 earned) his last four starts, including five runs (four earned) in 4 1/3 innings against the Diamondbacks on Sept. 6.
