The Arizona Diamondbacks lost 110 games a year ago and their fast start to this season has opened some eyes. However, after that 18-15 start they are just 16-26. The San Diego Padres have now dropped three-straight games and opened the road trip with a tough 7-6 loss to Arizona. I think that will serve as a wake-up call for the Padres who are no doubt the superior team here. Mike Clevinger has made one career start vs Arizona that resulted in a win by six runs. Madison Bumgarner was the Arizona starter in that game, so the distance between these teams appears to be magnified with this matchup. Make the play on San Diego on the run line.
