Brandon Webb should have won his second straight Cy Young award last year when he posted a career high in wins. It seems like he has been pitching with a chip on his shoulder this year and will look for win 19 today. Could a Cy Young award win happen this season? Webb is 7-0 with a 2.28 record over his last 10 starts and will be facing perhaps the worst offensive team in the NL. He will square off against a rookie pitcher who will be pitching on the road for the first time. This start comes after allowing three runs in five innings at home in his major league debut for a 5.40 ERA. The D-backs have got it going, while the Padres never got it going this year. A Webb shutout is not out of the realm of reality, so we like the D-Backs on the runline here.
