Pittsburgh at St. Louis

The St. Louis Cardinals have taken over the NL Central division lead and they will host the Pittsburgh Pirates in a doubleheader today and tonight. The Cards after a lackluster week have gotten back on track with three wins in their last four games including the series opener vs the Pirates 7-5. The Pirates are in freefall now as they have dropped seven straight games where they have been outscored 37-19. Pittsburgh sends J.T. Brubaker to the mound for game one and he has struggled mightily vs St. Louis. Brubaker is 0-5 with a 7.30 ERA against St. Louis. A slumping team with a pitcher showing no success against the opponent isn't a good recipe to end a losing streak. Make the play on St. Louis.
