Pittsburgh has won six of nine on the road after defeating the Cardinals 6-3 in 10 innings when Andrew McCutchen hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the 10th. St. Louis is 6-9 and in last place in the NL Central and it has lost five of its past six home games. The Pirates have won all three of Mitch Keller's starts, including 7-4 over Houston on Tuesday when he allowed just two runs on six hits in six innings. Keller gave up eight runs in 21 1/3 innings against the Cardinals for a 3.38 ERA in 2022. Pittsburgh's bullpen is tied for second in the majors with seven saves.
