Pittsburgh at San Francisco

Pittsburgh won the first two games of the series following Saturday's 10-2 victory when Gregory Polanco drove in three runs including a homer, and the Pirates banged out 16 hits. All but one of the Giants hitters will be facing JT Brubaker for the first time, and Alex Wood goes for San Francisco. Wood had a rough June when he allowed 18 earned runs in 23 1/3 innings for a 6.94 ERA and in July the left-hander has given up six runs on 13 hits in 17 innings. Pittsburgh has won six of the past eight meetings, including the last four at San Francisco. The Giants have lost four of five after scoring two or fewer runs their previous game. Take the Pirates.
