Pittsburgh at San Francisco

The San Francisco Giants have just played their way out of playoff contention. The record stands at 55-57 which speaks mediocre at best. The Pirates at 45-68 have been one of the worst teams in MLB this season as the rebuilding is going slowly. The Pirates are 8 games into a 10-game road trip and have struggled at 2-6. They have suffered 2 of the losses by being shut out. The Giants do have some hidden value here. San Francisco has struggled against the better teams, but they have now gone 5-0 against a team below .500 in their last 5. The Pirates are another one of those games, and I will make the play on San Francisco.
