It takes cajones to back the worst road team in the league but I actually like Pittsburgh's chances here. You see Philadelphia is struggling right now. They've lost four straight and 13 of their last 16 games. They are just 19-26 at home and 17-29 off a loss this season. Pittsburgh has already won 3 of 4 in this matchup this season and the pitching matchup is a tossup with both Maholm and Lidle strugggling. Lidle is 5-10 as a home favorite the past two seasons. Road teams love seeing home plate umpire John Hirschbeck behind the plate as they are 9-6 this season and 44-40 over the past three seasons with him umping. Back to Philly's stuggles: They are averaging just 4 runs per game over their last seven games while Pittsburgh has put up 2 full runs more per game over the same span. Pittsburgh to suprise and win this one.
