This looks like a surprising number put on Oakland, but considering what the Pirates have done on the road, it isn't nearly big enough. It’s hard to find value in chalky lines, but this one sure has it. For starters, the Pirates have now dropped 15 straight games on the road. The numbers over a long period of time are at least as ugly. The Pirates, in their last 52 interleague road games vs. a right-hand pitcher, are just 10-42. It doesn't seem like it can get much worse than that, but it does. Pittsburgh is 8-44 in their last 52 road games in interleague play. The A's are dynamite behind Cahill when he pitches after a quality start his last time out at 10-1 in their last 11. I’m on Oakland in this one.
