The saga continues for the Pittsburgh Pirates on the road. When the last game has been played, they may in fact go down as the worst road team in major league baseball history, or at least in the top 10. The Pirates are now 15-68 on the road, and 2-20 in their last 22. The numbers don't get any better when you look at them as a road dog as the ledger shows just 7-45. They are also just 5-22 behind Morton in his last 27 starts as a dog, as well as 2-15 on the road as a dog. The Mets are now 41-15 in their last 56 at home vs. a team with a winning percentage of less than .400 on the road. The Pirates enter this one just 5-16 in their last 21 in New York and that includes 1-6 in their last seven here. Big chalk yes, but small price considering the road ills of the Pirates. New York gets this one.
