It’s hard to understand this one. The Pirates are perhaps the worst road team in the history of baseball. This game puts the worst road team in baseball in what has been their worst possible scenario. The Pirates, when facing a right hander on the road, are 12-56 in their last 68 games. To see this one set at approximately 1.5-1 odds baffles me. The Mets are in their best spot to win, at 38-15 in their last 53 at home vs. a team with a road winning percentage under .400. The Pirates haven't exactly been getting healthy in New York either, winners of just three of their last 12 here. They have James McDonald on the hill who is 0-3 on the road with a 6.50 ERA. I don't see anything that should have this one posted on such short odds. New York takes this one.
