Pittsburgh at Minnesota

Minnesota has been trying to pull away in the AL Central all season and finally is making some headway as the Twins have won three of four to move 4 1/2 games ahead of Cleveland and they have Pablo Lopez going tonight and he is 8-6 with a 1.09 WHIP and the Twins have won his past three starts. Lopez has allowed only five runs his past 32 innings and he is 5-2 with a 2.90 ERA and .199 opponent batting average in night games this season. July and August have been his best months by far in 2023 and Pittsburgh batters are just 4-for-22 against him. Andre Jackson will make his second start of the season and likely will go just a few innings. Jackson has allowed 16 runs on 27 hits in 26 1/3 innings. The Pirate bullpen has a 4.19 ERA and 1.35 WHIP and Pittsburgh is 25-35 on the road. Take the Twins as a Max Play.
