The Pittsburgh Pirates will attempt to slow down the Milwaukee Brewers who are off to a surprising 8-2 start this season. Yovani Gallardo has started strong, but so has Pirates' starter Edinson Volquez and his 1.17 ERA on the season. Milwaukee has been scoring runs in bunches, and have gotten a lot more mileage out of a suspect bullpen then expected. However, when the dust settles, their strong start will become a distant memory. The Pirates have been extremely strong and profitable on the road in an expected pitcher's duel, as they are 11-1 in their last 12 with a posted total of 7 to 8.5. They also have the bats going after a game where they were held to 2 runs or fewer, as they have followed by going 42-16 in their last 58. I'm on the Pirates in this one.
