Pittsburgh at Miami

The Pittsburgh Pirates will spend Opening Day in Miami as they will take on the Marlins. The Pirates have shown trust in their starter Mitch Keller. They gave him a five-year extension, and on the same day announced he will be the Opening Day starter for the second consecutive season. Keller finished strong last year at 6-2, but he also went through a seven-start stretch going 0-7, so hard to call him totally reliable. The Marlins will send Jesus Luzardo to the mound. Luzardo is 26 and is off a good season where he pitched to a 3.58 ERA, and struckout 208 batters in 178 innings. The Marlins went 13-6 in his 19 home starts, and have the edge later this afternoon.
