The Pittsburgh Pirates came into Miami feeling good after taking their last game at Wrigley vs. the World Champion Cubs. They won a laugher last night 12-2, where they pasted the Marlin's pitching for 18 hits. The Pirates wheel out Ivan Nova who has a strong career record of 77-56, and is even better since donning a Pirates uniform at 9-5. Daniel Straily can't seem to find a home as he has pitched for five teams over the last three years. The Pirates have had the Marlins' number over the last 30 meetings where they are 19-11. The Marlins have been brutal lately, recovering from a 10+ run loss, as they are just 4-9 in their last 13 when following a double-digit set back, and 7-14 in their last 21 at home in this spot.
