Bud Norris sure deserves a better fate as the Astros just don't score many runs. Despite the fact they have the worst record in baseball Norris has pitched well enough to tread along the .500 line at 5-6. His serves have kept opponents off balance enough, so when the Astros have been posted as a home favorite of -150 or less and Norris toes the rubber, they have been 7-2-1 in the last 10 to the UNDER. Paul Maholm has really turned the corner for the Pirates and when he starts as a dog, the Pirates have been 10-2 to the UNDER in their last 12. Overall with Maholm on the hill, they are now 15-5-1 to the UNDER in his last 21 starts. The last 15 times these clubs have squared off in Houston, just four have made it over the total. My play is on the UNDER.
