Pittsburgh at Detroit

The Detroit Tigers are a slowly improving team, and they have gotten some decent pitching. They have managed to maintain themselves as a breakeven team as they average 4.5 runs per game and allow 4.5 runs per game. The Pirates came charging out of the gate at 9-2 to start the season, and won several of those on the road. It didn't last though. Since that 9-2 start the Pirates are just 16-27, and have not played well. Detroit is 7-4 in their last 11 meetings with the Pirates, and I like the Tigers in this early one.
