Many opposing pitchers have come to Coors Field and wilted in the hitter-friendly park, but Archer has been here before, and led the Tampa Bay Rays to a 11-3 win in a well pitched game. The Pirates dominated last night in a 10-2 win, and will face German Marquez today. Marquez has not fared well at home this season, where the Rockies have a losing record, and in his 11 starts the opponent has scored 6.27 runs per game.
